TypeIndexer is a font utility that finds, sorts,
catalogs, and samples PostScript fonts. In
addition to working with installed fonts,
TypeIndexer can find and process any number
of font files at one time without having to install
them. You can create font catalogs with samples
of all Postscript typefaces in your library.
TypeIndexer prints an alphabetical list of all
font names, with line samples of each, at up to
60 typefaces per page. For more detailed
inspection, it can sample 1, 2, 4, 6, 15, 20, or
40 fonts on a page in a variety of template
formats. New free templates are added to this
Web site, and TypeIndexer provides tools to
write your own.
