Converts images to music in an interesting way. See what your favorite pictures sound like! SoundOfAnImage is written in Objective-C using both Cocoa (AppKit) and Carbon (QuickTime). I wouldn’t exactly call this high-quality code; SoundOfAnImage is more of an art project to me than a serious piece of engineering.
What’s New:
Version 1.1:
- MIDI Export - This was by far the top user request: SoundOfAnImage can now export MIDI files. Note that it always exports with the tempo set to 120 beats per minute; you can change that in whatever scoring/MIDI editing app you’re using.
- I fixed a couple of the most commonly-reported bugs. They were pretty weird and minor so I won’t list them here.
