PodWriter is a simple cocoa app used for creating notes viewable on your iPod. Just open the app, enter a title, and the body of the note. Save it, and ! (bam).. Copy the note to the Contacts folder on your iPod, and now you have a note on your iPod (assuming you have updated your iPod firmware to 1.1). PodWriter is a (now) 100% pure Cocoa (objective-c) application (was Java) that allows you to write notes for your iPod. Version 2.0b4 now doesn’t split large notes into multiple files. All split notes are stored in 1 file, but multiple entries.
What’s New:
Version 2.2b1 adds some basic mp3 transfer functions. It’s not anywhere near finished, but here’s a look at it. Choose List Music from the mp3s menu and then make sure you select your destination folder. Once I figure out how to read mp3 tags correctly, it’ll get some more functions and a nicer appearance (function is more important than looks).
