Music Rescue allows you to recover your music, video and playlists from your iPod back to your computer in the event of accidental deletion from or complete failure of your iTunes library. It can also be used to keep your music library in sync between two or more computers.

Note: Music Rescue does not modify your music in any way, including DRM-encoded tracks from the iTunes Music Store. You’ll still need to authorize your computer to play them.

Features at-a-glance:

  • Support for all current iPod models except the iPod touch.
  • iTunes library scanning - quickly see if a particular track is in your iTunes library or not.
  • Rules allow you to select which music to copy in a few clicks. Want all of your Counting Crows tracks that aren’t in your computer’s library? Easy!
  • Music Rescue Anywhere allows you to install the program and its license on your iPod to ease use on multiple computers.
  • Automatic adding of copied tracks and rebuilding playlists in iTunes.

What’s New:
Version 3.1.6:

  • You can now delete Rulesets and make Copy Presets default again.
  • Further improved type detection for 3rd generation iPod nano and shuffles.
