Haven’t encountered the “unknown error” message, which seems to have something to do with not storing your music library in the proper place. I replaced my iPod battery without too much difficulty (see <a href="http://www.handpickedsoftware.com/52/my-ipod-is-reborn" rel="nofollow" >My iPod is Reborn!</a>). My iPods have always worked seamlessly for me on the Mac.<br /> <br /> In any case, the HE Marcel Wanders sound system can be used with any MP3 player or computer.
