KeyCastr lets you easily display your keystrokes while recording screencasts. Very useful when demonstrating complicated keyboard shortcuts.

What’s New:
Version 0.7.3

This bugfix release corrects three problems with 0.7.2:

  • Preferences window animations take too long.
  • Keystrokes are visible while preferences window is open.
  • Bezel no longer steals focus.

Version 0.7.2:

  • Non-US keyboards now show arrows and other glyphs correctly.
  • Modifiers are now correctly shown for all keystrokes.
  • Space and tab now use standard glyphs.
  • Function keys are now correctly displayed.
  • The location of the bezel is now saved between launches.
  • The bezel can now be dragged around without the preferences window visible.
  • You may now specify a shortcut key to make KeyCastr stop displaying keystrokes.
  • An option to display only command keys has been added.
  • The preferences panel has been extensively reworked.
