QT Full Screen is an AppleScript to watch movies in full screen using Apple’s QuickTime Player (without registering the QuickTime Pro version).

This installer will activate the Script menu in the menu bar and install the QT Full Screen AppleScript in the folder “QuickTime Player”.

Cleaner now has a new 3GP settings folder.
When encoding with audio modifiers, MPEG2 source clips no longer cause Cleaner to crash.
Cleaner 6.5.1 is now compatible with QuickTime versions 6.5.2 to 7.1.3.
Elementary files are now compatible with the iPod encoding through the iPod-MPEG4 video codec.

QTBatchExporter offers background conversion and export – with tunable system response – allowing you to seamlessly perform other tasks on your computer while exporting video or other QuickTime files to a different format.

This demo version of QTBatchExporter will process up to 3 files at a time from the processing queue. After processing every 3 files, it will automatically enter Pause mode. To continue processing, click Resume.

What’s New:
QuickTimeBatchExporter will attempt to export ANY file dropped on the application window (but drops on application icon still are limited to certain file types). For example, to use MPEG-2 files for input (assuming you already have the appropriate codec installed on the computer), drag and drop them on the application window (not icon). Please use judiciously (don’t drop a text file, for instance).

Soft wipe is a set of iMovie transitions that facilitate wipes with a soft border from one clip to another. The transitions allow for 100 different levels of ’softness’ (from ‘hard line’ to ‘very soft’), and eight different directions. In addition, the intro and exit versions of the transition allow to wipe from/to a user-selectable color.

band disturbance – iMovie special effect

When you film a tv screen or monitor, the result often has a horizontal band scrolling down. This happens when the screen’s refresh speed is not tightly synchronized with the camera’s shutter speed. Band disturbance is an iMovie special effect that mimics that effect.

Use this plug whenever you want to simulate a filmed TV transmission or monitor.

Features

Area of effect: define the area of the clip you want to be affected by the plug-in. all other parts or the clip remain untouched.
Brightness: this slider controls if the disturbance is brighter or darker than the picture (and how much). you can go from -50% to +50%
Severity: this controls how thick the band will appear.
Speed: this slider controls how fast the disturbance moves down.

clip snapshot – iMovie tool for snapshots of frames

Clip snapshot is a free iMovie plug-in of a very special kind. It doesn’t actually provide an effect that can be applied to a clip. Rather, it’s a productivity tool that allows you to use snapshots of your clip outside of iMovie. The plug-in allows you to select any area from any frame in a clip, and — at the touch of button — exports the contents of the active are to the clipboard or a number of different file formats. If you choose to export to a file, you can also specify various compression settings.

The plug-in also allows you to choose between different source formats to ensure non-distorted snapshots (important for those people that use PAL or VGA source).

What should I use it for?
Use this ‘effect’ whenever you need to quickly take a snapshot of your clip, and rather not go through the screenshot-crop-export cycle. We use this little tool for creating

Pleinpot – Add sound & captions to VR video files
