Font Mate is a simple program to help you see how fonts look on your computer, and to help you find symbol characters. Font Mate shows you a list of all the fonts installed on your computer. Choose any font from the list and it will show you what all the characters in that font look like. Choose any one of those characters and you will see an enlarged version of it at the bottom of the page (with its ASCII code in decimal and hex, should you be interested). Click the button to copy that character to the clipboard if you want to use it in another application.

Rondelle can be described as “Chicago with personality”. It’s a
legible, but distinctive font good for a variety of uses. Use it to

Rondelle version 1.0 is a preview release that includes uppercase and

Atmosphere Neue Light – Font resembling Crouwel’s new alphabet

Atmosphere Neue is a font that is an interpretation of Crouwel’s new alphabet. Atmosphere Neue retains the same square proportions as Crouwel’s design, but the strokes are much thinner.

While there is no uppercase version of this typeface, two partial versions have been provided, with some of the uppercase letters designed to be more legible. The lowercase letters more closely resemble the original designs. Atmosphere Neue includes all the letters A-Z, numbers 0-9, and several punctuation, accent and mathematical symbols.

Imitari – All-caps Font

Imitari (Latin word for imitate) is an all caps display typeface design that was originally commissioned for an unpublished emulation magazine of the same name. The design is based on the style of geometric and modular typography often used in game company logos and the work of the Designer’s Republic. Imitari contains an extensive set of uppercase and alternate letters, numerals, accents, and punctuation. This archive includes both TrueType and PostScript Type 1.

Memento Mori – Ancient Roman carvings font

Memento Mori began as an independent study while the developer was studying graphic design at the University of Kansas. It was designed as a face that would be able to imitate Ancient Roman carvings, but without the feeling of "near perfect" quality that the computer renders. For this, I designed four different but subtle versions of each letterform, which are accessible from the same font to achieve a hand made look. Most people will hardly notice the differences between the letters, but closer examination will reveal the differences: slant, weight, stress, serifs, and widths. There are no lowercase (as the Romans didn’t have lowercase), but a Small Caps suitcase has been included. With the small caps, you will be able to create logotypes (the NT and the RI in the title above). Refer to the key chart documentation on how to access all the characters. Additionally, for an example of how this typeface can be used, take a look at the sample image included in this archive.

Because of the complexity of this typeface, it should only be used with programs that have kerning abilities. Typing a letter to your mother with Memento Mori on the word processor of your choice will produce horrendous results. This font is happiest when used in programs like FreeHand, Illustrator, or Quark Xpress. Due to the large number of letter combinations, it would be very difficult to make specific kerning pairs.
