• Performance: The update addresses several performance issues and speeds up launch time, copy and paste functions, opening and saving files as well as scrolling, panning, and zooming. Files with large amounts of text also open and close faster. The performance enhancements are especially evident on Mac OS with Epson printers.
• Saving files to a server:: The update allows Mac OS users to save files directly to Microsoft Windows NT servers.
• Preferences: The update fixes an issue where preference settings such as scratch disks or palette positions are sometimes not preserved between sessions.
• Euro character: OpenType and Type 1 fonts now display the Euro symbol properly when saving a file in .ai or .pdf format.
